Carinya Care Services has two facilities:
Carinya of Bicton; Provides Residential Aged Care including a specialist Dementia Wing, a Low Care Wing and a Transition Care Program.
Carinya on Bristol; is our Extra Service Aged Care facility providing an exception level of care and services.
Role:
We are looking for Experienced Care Workers to join our team. You will be responsible for providing a very high standard of care and services to our residents. Care is provided based on each resident’s individually assessed and documented needs and is designed to enhance their lives and promote independence.
To be successful in the role you will possess:
A certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years experience in an Aged Care setting as a carer.
Must be available for at least 8 shifts per fortnight
Be available both days and afternoons
Medication Competent – highly desirable
Flexible
Willingness to uphold the Vision, Values and Mission of Carinya Care.
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently
Good time management skills
Basic Computer skills
Excellent English both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills
Current Police Clearance
